Louis E. Bourgeois was raised in a working class family in East New Orleans in Louisiana along the Bayou Sauvage. He is currently an instructor of literature and writing at Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He was poetry editor for the University of Mississippi’s Yalobusha Review, and is founder and co-editor of VOX (www.voxjournal.com temporarily offline), a journal of experimental short prose and poetry. Over 200 of his stories, poems, and translations have been published in America and Europe. This is his sixth book.
